WebAs new glams drop from dungeon, raids and crafts, it’s become more and more clear that Yoshi P and the FFXIV team don’t want to give Viera the love needed to make headgear work on them. They have had countless requests and a WHOLE expansion (2+ years) to fix the old helms and hats. It seems like they just don’t want too. WebViera basically can't wear any hats that look like hats. Headbands and stuff, sure. But anything that covers their ears just doesn't work. Which is interesting, since Mosquitos and Aura can have their stuff poke through without issues.
